About Us

DORC-NH was founded by three Defender 2 enthusiasts after meeting on the New Defender Boards via FaceBook. Jimmy P., Dan M., and Ned C. became fast friends with shared values and moral compasses. This relationship and the idea for DORC-NH was solidified after meeting in person at the Vermont Land Rover Experience and having a great day wheeling Mt. Equinox and the VTLR course. After a great day on the trails, Jimmy, Dan and Ned broke bread enjoyed some beverages and DORC-NH was formed. They look forward to more get togethers like this with you telling tales of the days trail rides around the fire.

Defenders Off-Road Club of New Hampshire is a community based around our love of Land Rovers ( Defenders; Series, Classic, Range Rovers, Discoveries, Range Rover Classics, Range Rover Sports and Defender 2 models). Our goal is to enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer by accessing it together via our trusty vehicles. We participate in meetups, trail rides, car shows and just getting together for backyard BBQ. Our goal is to create an open interactive community of like minded people. People open to education on off-roading and learning how to get the most out of their Land Rovers. We are committed to giving back to our state of New Hampshire. DORC-NH is a 501(c)7 pending organization that will be announcing our charity partner very soon. DORC-NH members also feel a motivation to serve others as well having fun. Its in our ethos.

We are sponsored and participating with a variety of companies that will offer our members additional after market products, service, courses and guidance to make our members’ Defenders all that they wish them to be.

We subscribe to a Code of Ethics and strict By-Laws to ensure that each member gets value and enjoyment from their participation with DORC-NH. Being a New Hampshire native, it is imperative that we “Leave No Trace” and adhere and embody the “Tread Lightly” principles both on and off the road.
